Will This Be a Yearly Thing?

No, I don’t think so.

I’m not one to give up on things so easily so I think I’ll try to start this up again.  I’m sure I’ll stick with education topics but I’ll also incorporate a few things regarding photography and art as well.

Of course, tearing an achilles does put a damper on things (Don’t worry, I did that last summer, hence the stoppage of posts for the last year or so).

So we’ll keep at it, determined and resolute to keep writing.  We’ll see what I can come up with.  I’ll start by leaving you the last picture I took (before hurting my back last week – I’ll catch a break soon I think!).

  • Photo Notes:  I stacked 10 images to reduce noise, shot at F2.8, ISO 3200, around 17 seconds.  Used Lightroom and Photoshop.
  • Education Quote:  Just saw this one on Twitter and I couldn’t agree more . . .

“Schools do not thrive because of programs or plans… they thrive because of the passionate educators in the building.”

    From Danny Steele (Twitter: @SteeleThoughts).

Thought I was finally gone, didn’t you?

Well, I’m not gone yet, just very very busy.

I also think I’ll start adding new things, especially during the school year.  For example, here’s something I would like to do more of . . . Scenes from the School.

Scene from last night’s school dance.

Mr. Cates, our music teacher on the mic: Okay, here’s a classic to dance to!

(Starts playing “Eye of the Tiger)

(My 5th grade Students start running over to me)

Students: You need to dance to this, it’s a classic!!!

Me: Wait, I have to dance to this because “it’s a classic?” So when you think “classic” you immediately think of me?!

Students: Yes!

Me: Is this because I’m old?

(Students start laughing)

End scene.

I’ll exit stage left now.
